What I do remember is falling asleep around 5:00am on Thursday morning - and then awaking at 9:00am to take another shot of NyQuil..you know, just so I could uh....BREATHE. I have had two terrible colds in as many months -- and I usually only get one cold a year so this is not my idea of fun.
Next thing I knew I was asleep and I heard my daughter saying "Mom, dinner is ready, did you hear me, dinner is ready?!"
I awoke (as awake as one gets when stoned on over-the-counter med's) and lo and behold -- there sat a Tofurkey, veggies, mashed potatoes, gravy and a pumpkin pie.
Then we watched 50 First Dates which is a fun, romantic warm and fuzzy movie...or was that just my temperture rising?
Due to NyQuil I thought the female star of the movie was Kate Hudson the entire time I was watching it --- and I was thinking she no longer looked so much like her mother, Goldie Hawn. Maybe because it was Drew Barrymore. OK, you can imagine the pathetic look my daughter gave me. But she wasn't too hard on me. Afterall...it was Thanksgiving.
