23 years ago in germany? you were pretty close to my home then living in amsterdam in that same period. i can fully understand the title of your post today...those were the days, bad things in life were so few....

I wanted to visit Amsterdam - and never had the opportunity! I want to go to Pau in France to see where my Grandma was from...never made it to that area of France in the 70s...Corey (Tongue in Cheek) tells me it is one of her favorite areas there...

OHMYGOD! I see Jill and Marissa in that photo. I think it's great to have great memories to reflect on. Imagine going through all these years without exciting experiences. The years do fly by, but at least the memories stay.

rochambeau,elizabeth,frenchgardenhouse...WOW, I now have three new friends whose lives will enrich me! Thank you Marita...and Thank you all for the nice comments - it is funny - I posted the photo of myself, just in passing - having nothing 'exciting' to write...and yet I find I have awakened memories for everyone. That is so COOL!
